I love Juliet Marillier’s other sevenwwaters, but everyone was right that this series really is the best. Do you prefer writing in the first person or the third person?

Would it do any good if we wrote to your US publisher is it Penguin? And Faolan, as a father figure!!! You do a grand job of story telling, and you should not be limited in any way. She gets quickly embroiled in an adventure. I’d recommend this book to fans of the original Sevenwaters trilogy and Juliet Marillier, but if you haven’t read anything by her before definitely start with Daughter of the Forest.

Not a fan of this book. The fierce, tattooed leader is a mystery Liadan must unravel–who he is, where he comes from, why mrillier cannot abide darkness, and why he despises women so much that he can’t stand being in her presence.

Instead, it is her perseverance despite the burdens placed before her that make her such an engaging heroine. Emma, this is an interesting comment!
